The BGI is Enterprize's startup support program, bringing world's best practice in lean startup development to Tasmanian founders.
Participants spend eight weeks learning the theory, then six weeks applying it to their startup idea, graduating from the program on "Demo Day", where their idea and progress is showcased.
Enterprize program manager Kaitlin Roach said applications are welcomed from founders across the state with a "rapidly scalable and problem-focussed business idea", with the program able to be completed either in-person in Hobart and Launceston, or remotely.
"The pandemic has shown us that we can reach Tasmanian entrepeneurs regardless of their location," Ms Roach said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Enterprize general manager Casey Farrell said businesses based at Enterprize spaces reported an average revenue increase of 42 per cent during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"While the nationwide average revenue increase for the 2019-20 financial year was just one per cent, businesses based at Enterprize showed significant growth in revenue and employment figures," he said.
"Our spaces in Hobart and Launceston are nearing capacity, and we supported 27 new business founders through the Born Global Incubator in 2020 - from a pool of over 50 applicants."
Applications close on February 19 and can be made on the Enterprize website.
