Hobart Hurricanes have added Test duo Matthew Wade and Tim Paine to their squad for Friday night's crucial clash with Perth Scorchers.
With three games to spare, the Hurricanes sit narrowly outside the top four with just four points separating second from seventh.
A win could catapult Adam Griffith's side into second spot while a loss would open the door for other sides to make their move.
Paine and Wade's availability means the Hurricanes could field as many as four wicketkeeping options in Friday's final XI with Ben McDermott and Peter Handscomb also accomplished glovemen.

Wade's inclusion appears particularly timely with the Hurricanes struggling to find a partner for D'Arcy Short at the top of the order.
Friday's game starts at 4.05pm.
