Jurassic Creatures will stomp into Country Club Tasmania in May next year, bringing with it over 30 animatronic, life-size dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures.
It will be the first time Tasmania has experienced the interactive exhibition, with patrons able to walk through the show and participate in activities that explore the 165-million years dinosaurs lived on the earth.
Country Club general manager Ross Hannah said thousands of families and fans turned out for the show on the mainland and they expect it will be hugely popular with Tasmanians too.
"People have absolutely loved getting up close to the dinosaurs and we know it's going to capture the imaginations of the young and young at heart."
"It's something that is probably a little bit unusual for us at the Country Club, an interactive dinosaur show is not something that we would normally do everyday."
He said it had been awhile since the community has been able to enjoy a large-scale display so they can't wait to see people coming out and enjoying the entertainment.

"I always get excited to see the smile on our customers faces when they come out and having something that is really family orientated is going to be awesome."
The show was originally scheduled to be earlier on in the year but COVID-19 threw a spanner in the works.
Mr Hannah said his favourite dinosaur was the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
George Plaisted, 6, of Launceston said he is excited there will be a dinosaur exhibit and that the dinosaurs will be life-size.
"My favourite dinosaur is the Tyrannosaurus Rex."
Sister, Amelia Plaisted, 8, agreed the T-Rex was her favourite dinosaur too and she was very excited.
Charlotte Plaisted,10, said she wanted to see the big dinosaurs and what they looked like.
"It will be like a Country Club's museum," she said.
The show will also provide children with an expert digger outfit to unearth their own fossils, as well as a range of arts and crafts activities, rides, giant bug displays, classes, and jumping castles to add to the immersive experience.
Presale tickets will go live on December 15 at 9am and general admission will be on sale 9am, December 16.
Sessions are two hours at $36.50 per person or $120 for a four person family pass. Infants under 12 months are free.
