After an opening stand of 37 between Tristan Weeks and Callan Morse (40), the Lions ripped through the remaining line-up to skittle the visitors for 113.
Dilan Sandagirigoda (41 off 27) and Cam Lynch (29) then set up an easy victory with Lions captain Alistair Taylor and James Lee passing the target inside 23 overs.
"Those chases are a bit tricky so it was really good for Dilly and Cam to go out there, get us off to a flier and take the pressure off the rest of the group," Taylor said.
Earlier, Dihan Cloete continued his good form with 2-14 off six while James Curran (4-18) took a near career-best haul.
"He was magnificent today - he took four wickets but he could have easily had six or seven," Taylor said.
"We've obviously had a really good start to the year, we've just got to continue to work really hard."
WESTBURY got off the mark with a thrilling final-over win against Burnie.
Chasing 190 after Brady Yates' 78, the Shamrocks enjoyed a 95-run third-wicket stand between Dan Murfet (69) and Chathura Athukorala (50) before the latter was run out backing up.
Hamish Sytsma and Matty Allen then held their nerve to put on an unbeaten 27 for the seventh wicket and win with five balls to spare.
"We've only managed to play two games so far and they've both gone down to the wire which is a little bit stressful, but I'm really pleased we were able to come out on the other side of this one," Murfet said.
"It was really good to bat with Chooka through the middle and I'll take a lot out of that - he's a very wise head and our young fellas are going to benefit a lot from him going forward."

Joel Lloyd (4-36) also impressed after being entrusted the new ball.
"He's a guy that's probably just lacked opportunity so far with the ball due to us being lucky to have some really good bowlers around.
"It's probably our first chance this year to have a look at our depth ... Frenchy [Jordan French] came on and did his job and guys like Hamish Sytsma and Matty Allen, they couldn't have handled the situation they were in any better," Murfet said.
RIVERSIDE made it two in a row with an eight-wicket win at Ulverstone.
Black Caps opener Brayden Devries impressed with 53 on debut but a late collapse of 6-19 saw the hosts dismissed for just 131.
Leg-spinner James Simpson was the difference with a career-best 4-31 while Blues coach Lyndon Stubbs inflicted two run-outs against his old team.
"[Simpson] hasn't bowled a heap in games so it was really pleasing for him to get that reward for all the hard work he's put in to adapt that new skill to his game," Stubbs said.
Stand-in captain Peter New (52*) and Ramesh Sundra (30*) led from the front in the Blues' chase with Cameron Hilfenhaus the only wicket-taker.
"It's always a little bit tough with the low chases if you're constantly having new batsmen at the crease, but Pete consolidating and playing his role to be there at the end of the innings was really positive," Stubbs said.
"That's going to set him up for a big month I think."
MOWBRAY gave Devonport a genuine scare before falling 12 runs short of 145.
The Eagles reduced an Orions side featuring Miles Barnard and Tyler Dell to 6-58 before some crucial tail-wagging with Blake Cassidy (4-40) and coach James Storay (3-21) proving hard to handle.
Mowbray skipper Luke Scott (68*) then played a lone hand although Nick Smith (14) helped spark some hope late.
"We got really close - it's not disappointing, it just hurts a bit that we were so close and didn't get over the line," Storay said.
"Scotty showed up and delivered again - he's really digging his heels in and leading from the front.
"Unfortunately things just didn't go to plan with the bat but at the end of the day our turnaround of improvement over seven days has been dramatic."
A late collapse of 6-13 saw SOUTH LAUNCESTON suffer a 92-run loss at Sheffield.
A last-wicket stand of 51 helped the Mountaineers to a competitive 171 with Brodie Jarrad (1-15 off 10) the pick of the bowlers.
Marc Simonds (4-15) and Gary Miles (3-29) then silenced the Knights with only Nathan Philip (29) and Ishang Shah (20) making double figures.
