United's only previous blemish was a 1-1 draw at Montello Park in round two and Burnie again proved their bogey side with a goalless draw at Birch Avenue on Saturday.
"Full credit to Burnie, they pushed us all the way and are the only team to take points off us this season," coach Cameron Heazlewood said.
"It was a very even game and I feel a draw was a fair result on the balance of play."
United clinched the title last week and have one remaining fixture against an Ulverstone side without a point to its name which has now forfeited two weeks running.
RIVERSIDE were the latest side to be denied a match, only learning about the cancellation on Saturday morning.
The battle for second place will go down to the final weekend.
Second-placed Devonport Strikers sit on 30 points after a 7-0 demolition of LAUNCESTON CITY at Valley Road.
But third-placed NORTHERN RANGERS went one better and moved to 28 points after an 8-0 win at struggling Somerset.
The Langley sisters kept the goals in the family with Emma adding four more to her impressive season tally and Kate a double as Arlene Crooks and Abbie Chugg completed the scoring.
Ian Loft's Rangers will finish the season by hosting Launceston City next week while Devonport travel to Coastal neighbours Burnie.
A week after wrapping up the men's title, Devonport Strikers underlined their superiority with a 5-1 win over Dan Smith's LAUNCESTON CITY.
Second-placed NORTHERN RANGERS surprisingly dropped points at struggling Somerset.
A week after effectively conceding the title at Devonport, Yitay Towns (two) and Billy Luate claimed their goals in an entertaining 3-3 draw at Cardigan Street.
Third-placed LAUNCESTON UNITED kept up the chase for second with a 6-1 win over bottom-placed Burnie United.
Will Rodman, Christian Byard and Aidan Rigby were among the scorers for Glenn Reading's team.
RIVERSIDE OLYMPIC coach Wayne Penfold said his side are finally hitting their straps after leapfrogging Ulverstone with a solid 4-2 win.
"We've started to play proper football," he said. "We've gone back to basics and are playing simple and not over-complicating things.
"Our recent results have been with 12 players out so others are getting a look-in and full credit to them for stepping up and making the most of the opportunity."
Mitch Jones scored twice with Adam Walker and Declan Zasadny also netting while Ulverstone hit back through Tim Reid and Alex Armstrong.
