"Full credit to Burnie, they pushed us all the way and are the only team to take points off us this season," coach Cameron Heazlewood said.

"It was a very even game and I feel a draw was a fair result on the balance of play."

RIVERSIDE OLYMPIC coach Wayne Penfold said his side are finally hitting their straps after leapfrogging Ulverstone with a solid 4-2 win.

"We've started to play proper football," he said. "We've gone back to basics and are playing simple and not over-complicating things.

"Our recent results have been with 12 players out so others are getting a look-in and full credit to them for stepping up and making the most of the opportunity."

Mitch Jones scored twice with Adam Walker and Declan Zasadny also netting while Ulverstone hit back through Tim Reid and Alex Armstrong.
