With domestic borders required to be open for Australian Pro Tour events, those remaining in 2020 have also been cancelled, while one of the major junior events on the national calendar - the December Showdown - will now be state-based.
Tasmanian players had the opportunity to get four national ranking events under their belts before the March suspension of tournaments, with the Hobart and Rosny junior championships,and Cygnet and Clarence opens taking place.

It hasn't all been dark days for the state however, with universal tennis rating events taking over in the time of need.
Having already held multiple tournaments since national ranking play ceased, the state has three more scheduled for the next two months - the Tassie Showdown on September 28-30, the Hobart open on October 2-4 and the Bell Bay junior championships on October 8-10.
