Cameron Heazlewood told his side not to treat the Coastal strugglers any differently and his charges completed a tidy job.
Jess Robinson was the only multiple scorer with a hat-trick while Katie Hill, Maddy Lohse, Gonya Luate, Adilat Otto and Annie Reitsema completed the scoring.
"We switched the team around a bit and as a result struggled to get out of second gear," Heazlewood said.
"I was happy with the scoring output, if not the work on the ball. But I'm rapt that we were more clinical than in previous weeks."
With five wins and a draw from six outings, the coach said his side is doing all the right things but will face its strongest challenge from a second-placed Devonport side that beat fourth-placed Burnie 12-1.
The NORTHERN RANGERS engine started to gather steam with a 3-1 win at LAUNCESTON CITY.
Jakayla Harvey scored for the hosts but Emma Langley, Abbie Chugg and Febey Pearce ensured the points were heading back to the NTCA Ground.
A regular scorer for Ian Loft's team, Pearce said the side is beginning to click.
"We've got a mix of developing players and seniors so it's all about growth this year," she said.
"We just want to get on the same page while still having fun."
RIVERSIDE recorded the ultimate come-from-behind win, going a goal down before beating strugglers Somerset 10-1.
"We tend to play on the same level as other sides, top or bottom, and that happened again," said coach Jo Haezebrouck.
"So we started too slow and went behind ... but then Mia scored a 10-minute hat-trick and we played OK after that."
In addition to Mia Findlay's quickfire contribution, Meg Connolly bagged four with Millie Hanson, Maddie Davies and Chelsea Wing completing the rout.
"In the end, I was a happy coach," Haezebrouck added.
Regular title contenders Riverside and Rangers meet at Windsor Park next week.

In the men's competition, Connor Reading's first senior goal wasn't enough to save his dad Glenn's LAUNCESTON UNITED team from their first loss of the season.
Reading Junior headed in Sam Lowe's corner, but the competition's early pace-setters still went down 2-1 at Ulverstone.
NORTHERN RANGERS are starting to show some of their championship form, holding on for a 2-1 derby win at LAUNCESTON CITY.
Dan Sparshot and Vince Wolfhagen scored their goals before Noah Mies, who had dropped down from state league, curled in a stunning late consolation for the hosts.
Rangers captain Zac Chugg said momentum is gradually building for the new-look side.
"Considering we only have four players remaining from our winning team last year, we're doing OK," he said. "It's a transition year and we are starting to gel.
"We did not play our best. It was not the prettiest football, but enough to do the job."
Rhys Kinslow bagged his second hat-trick of the season as RIVERSIDE came from behind to see off Somerset 4-1.
Stuart Batt put the visitors ahead at Windsor Park but Kinslow soon had the Roos level from the penalty spot after the Sharks' keeper pulled down Will Coert.
Coert deservedly etched his name on the scoresheet midway through the second half while Kinslow added a composed sidefoot and an explosive left-footed sealer.
Coach Wayne Penfold was delighted to see his side back on track after three straight losses.
"We knew we were better than that and hopefully can build confidence ahead of a tough game against the champions Northern Rangers next week.
"We played the way we want to for longer periods, dictated most of the game and kept it simple, which is good because we do over-complicate sometimes."
Devonport Strikers assumed top spot by beating Burnie United 5-2.
Devonport and Ulverstone both have four wins and a draw after six games, the boys from Valley Road enjoying a superior goal difference.
