Glenorchy Knights took the points with a 2-0 win but Olympic coach Alex Gaetani wants to see his team bounce back against South Hobart followed by Clarence and Olympia.
"We've got to take it as lost points so to make it up we've got to look to take six from the next two and I believe we've got the goals and performances in us to do that.
"South Hobart are rebuilding and are a young side like us."
Ken Morton's men recovered from an uncharacteristically slow league start to demolish Kingborough 5-0 on Saturday with his son Nick pulling all the strings.
Still seeking his ideal striking option, Gaetani introduced giant teenager Declan Zasadny off the bench against Knights and intends to give more game time to the Southern Raiders product who has played for NPL Victoria side Avondale's under-20 side.
"Declan is a Launceston boy who has spent the last few years playing in Melbourne City's academy and NPL side but with the cancellation of those leagues came back over and wanted a club," he said.
"He will be back in Victoria next year and hopefully come back to us one day because he's a superstar."
Launceston City will complete a Northern double-header when Clarence visit Propsect Park at 4.30pm on Saturday.
Injuries and suspensions have curtailed coach Roger Hardwicke's maiden season at the club but captain Sam Ridgard is confident more stability will equate to more points.
"Apart from Kingborough, I feel every game we've competed in and been a bit unlucky not to pick up points," said the Englishman.
Ridgard has scored three of City's five goals to date while fellow import Rob Gerrard added a double in the cup.
Yasin Mohammadi scored a cracker at South Hobart but City's established strikeforce of Noah Mies and Jarrod Linger remains goalless.
"We've spoken about the potential power of our front five a lot and when we all start scoring I'm sure the confidence will be a lot better," Ridgard added.
"We're just not starting games well. I think we've only lost one second half. It takes us a half to realise we're in a game so we've been working on getting that right."
