Seemingly devoid of been given enough international fixtures each season, the state could be robbed of eight rostered matches over five dates for this year's T20 World Cup.
Not given a look in during the women's equivalent earlier this year, Bellerive Oval could join Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Geelong without more content should the tournament be scrapped.
The ICC had deferred its final decision last month amid uncertainty over travel in the COVID-19 pandemic, but pressure from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to plan out its Indian Premier League could this week halt the 2020 event for another season.

Such a misfortune would follow Hobart having its only Australian fixture - a one-day international against New Zealand - last season also abandoned during the initial outbreak of the coronavirus back in March.
It added to the financial woes of Cricket Tasmania and the redundancy of 20 of its staff before Cricket Australia soon after snubbed the state again for the fourth straight season in a bid to host a Test match against Afghanistan in November.
