Walters eased early to grab the one-one sit on Stormy Sanz in the 2YO and, in doing so, kept the favourite De Marco Beach trapped three wide.
Stormy Sanz then finished powerfully to overhaul Lancelot who had dashed clear with what appeared to be a winning break half way up the straight.
He scored by 1-1/2m and broke two minutes (1:59.9).
Colby Sanz led all the way to beat a smart field in the Rating 30-75 Pace, holding out the favourite Giftofjoy ($3.20 to $2.80) by a neck.
Giftofjoy had tracked him all the way and got clear in the straight but couldn't run him down.
Stormy Sanz and Colby Sanz are both raced by their Ringarooma breeders Nathan and Sandra Bennett.
Brighton driver Taylor Ford continued her good run of form when she won the Free-For-All on evergreen veteran Star Chamber.
In a five-horse race, Star Chamber sat second behind the leader Call Me Hector before proving too strong in the run home.
He scored by 4m with favourite Illegal Immigrant making ground to be 0.5m away third.
Star Chamber, an 11-y-o, has won 23 races and more than $260,000.
Another in-form reinsman, Conor Crook, was among the winners again, scoring on bolter Frostyflyer ($41) for Ben Yole and the well-backed North Star Lad ($5 to $3.80) for Geoff Smith.
