Housing three usable courts, currently out of action due to COVID-19, the club has applied for a Tennis Australia Hotshots grant to get the previously-used court two resurfaced with president Ken Ho hopeful of a positive result.
"It's quite a beautiful area to hit but in the last two years we haven't had the opportunity to use it because the courts have gone into disrepair," he said in a promotional video for the grant.

"We've had lines coming off, roots from trees digging in under the court and it's just not safe. It's a bit of a shame because it's collecting dirt and dust so we really want to get that eyesore fixed and get the members and community using that court again."
Predicting that the overgrown court hadn't been resurfaced in over two decades, Ho has been involved with the growing club for 19 years, fulfilling a multitude of roles during that time including player, coach and committee member.
Sitting at 84 members, Ho hopes the potential upgrades can see the club re-introduce both junior and senior tournaments that used to grace the courts.
"We have always had a strong family presence and membership being next to the school," Ho added.
"We also have a history of being involved with the ladies' midweek pennant and recently, the interclub pennant, having grown to three teams before COVID-19."
