It has also cancelled all ALP branch meetings, platform and policy meetings until further notice.
Party secretary Stuart Benson said the administrative committee had met and decided to take action in light of COVID-19.
"This is to ensure the safety of all our members," Mr Benson said.
"This action is also being taken by many other ALP state branches right around the country.
"A lot of members fall into the 'high risk' category and our prerogative is that all members keep safe during this time."

He said the annual conference on July 25 and 26 had been deferred until October 31 and November 1.
"However, based on the developing situation regarding COVID-19, a decision on whether the party actually proceeds with the 2020 state conference will be determined at a later meeting of the administrative committee," Mr Benson said.
The Labor Party said it would advise members when meetings would resume.
