Sheffield have taken an outright win in their home clash against Wynyard by an innings and 9 runs. After Wynyard were only able to get to a total of 81 in their first innings, Sheffield replied making 249 with Eli Connelly top scoring with (65) and Jamie Skirving (41).

Wynyard's best bowlers were Brodie Stokes with 4-47 off 28 overs and Hashan Abeyrathna 3-53 off 20 overs. In their second innings Wynyard put up more of a fight but were bowled out for 158 with Brent Burgess top scoring with 48. Sheffield's bowling attack was led by coach Marc Simmonds with 7-65 off 26 overs.
Devonport have taken out first innings points in their match against Latrobe away at the Latrobe Recreation Ground. After Devonport had made 204, Latrobe resumed on 3 for 51 but were bowled out for 131 with James Wescombe top scoring with 47.
The best bowlers for Devonport were Samuel O'Mahony with 5-51 off 18 overs and Chris Lindsay, 5-56 off 24 overs. In reply Devonport batted a second time and were bowled out for 63. Brad Moore top scored with 12 and Latrobe's best bowler was Zac Nicolle (4-7). Latrobe batted a second time but ran out of time trying to get an outright win and finished 1 for 47.
Ulverstone have taken first innings points against Burnie at West Park. Ulverstone declared on their overnight score of 8 for 226. Burnie then looked to chase down the total but in the end were bowled out for 119. Nick Granger top scored with 41.
The best bowlers for Ulverstone were Matt Talbot with 3-48 off 22 overs and Will Dau with 4-22 off 26 overs. Burnie were then forced to follow on and bat a second time and ended the day on 5 for 95 with Zach Walker top scoring with 38.
Due to the closeness of the ladder, which needs to be confirmed on Monday, the final four teams will be advised by next week.
