The 18-year-old retired 59 not out after the mandatory 25-ball walk-off at University Oval to set up a nine-wicket victory against Trevallyn.
The knock had happened to be Norton-Smith's second highest score this campaign, a fifth half-century and also a seventh time she had retired.
The Tigers gun opener has been dismissed three times, leading the runscorers with 329 over the season at 109.6.
Trevallyn initially looked to have scored a competitive 3-122 in its first grand final.
The reigning premier had restricted the rookies to 2-42 in opening 10 overs after a wicketless Norton-Smith earlier conceded just the five runs off her four overs.
But Maxine Woods fought back in the second half of the innings with 38 and Tracey Miller also added 26, upping the ante until the pair were had been forced to retire.

Both Emma and Haylee Humphries as well as Emily Scott picked up a wicket each in a Tigers attack that threw the ball around to 10 bowlers.
A Longford back-to-back title never looked in doubt during the breezy run chase.
Norton-Smith was vicious from the outset, taking 24 off the opening Belinda Blackberry over that included five consecutive boundaries.
Another 26 came from the third over off Vanessa Bate after Norton-Smith hit two sixes to dash onto 47 off 19 balls and the Tigers to 0-57.
Norton-Smith brought up a third six amid nine fours to leave her side in a dominant position at 0-76 from 5.2 overs, requiring 47 off the last 88 balls for the premiership.
The Tigers did not lose a wicket until 11 runs shy of the win when Kristy Clayton fell to Woods. But it was Haylee Humphries and Mary Broadhurst that guided Longford home in the 15th over.
