Faulkner overcame NTSC Knights' Thomas Gleeson 6-3 and Lake prevailed 6-4 against Sam O'Shea before two doubles wins clinched the rubber 4-2. James Rakus was the standout for the Newstead side, winning 6-1 against Kiran Naidoo.
Riverside's intraclub grudge match came down to games, with Ramjets rolling Wiseguise 3-28 to 3-24.

Manning Mitchell gave Wiseguise every chance with a singles win against Ramjets captain Ryan Walker and two solid doubles victories.
Ramjets Tim Sterling and Oliver Hadley, however, were both miserly in their singles wins and kept the Wiseguise games tally down.
Trevallyn Titans continued their strong season start with a 6-0 win. David Beattie, Jeff Speer and Nicholas Hookway brought their A games to engineer the whitewash.
