Kingborough's Zac Curtain led the way with the bat, bringing up his half century in 93 balls in a 79-run partnership with opener James Scott (38).
The pair were able to capitalise off the bowlers' efforts with a steady stream of wickets regularly keeping their opponents within an arms reach of the win.
New Town's Jesse Willmott was the only multiple wicket-taker in the side, claiming 2-25 while Louis Smith, Lachlan Cowan, Riverside's Arie Schoenmaker, Bryce Alomes, Scott and Launceston's Thomas Beaumont took one apiece.
The Tigers face NSW Magenta next on Friday.
