Radford collected figures of 8-18 to tear through the Launceston batting lineup and record the best bowling performance of any cricketer playing the T20 format in Australia this season.
The 15-year old Exeter High School student said the astonishing effort, which included a hat-trick, was her best performance in a match so far.
"I was kind of shocked - my highest (before) would've been three wickets," she said.
Coach Naomie O'Loughlin said Radford had well and truly earnt the new ball for this week's match against Mowbray.
"We were absolutely thrilled for her to the point where we were saying 'stop getting them out, leave some for the rest of us'," she said.
"It was a truly amazing thing to be a part of."
O'Loughlin said Radford had benefited from a team training session with former Tasmanian domestic player Tony Benneworth, who instructed the bowlers to aim for a tissue marker on the training pitch.
"He was saying if you want to make the Australian team, you've got to be able to hit that tissue at least four out of six balls in an over, and it was two weeks after that training session that she got 8-18."
