Greater Northern Raiders duo Brodie Hayes and Ben Spinks as well as Westbury's Corey Briggs will get the chance to test themselves against Australia's best as they take part in the national indigenous championships in Alice Springs next week.

Burnie's Hayes has been one of the Raiders' strongest contributors with the bat this season, carving out 416 runs at an average of 59.43 including two unbeaten centuries, while pace bowler Spinks has taken six scalps at 32.17.
Briggs represented the Raiders last season, but this year has focused purely on his cricket for Westbury as a mainstay in first grade until scoring 114 in the twos earlier this month.
ELSEWHERE IN SPORT
Fielding a side in the men's competition only, Tasmania's best female prospects will be representing other states with last year's player of the tournament Emma Manix-Geeves unable to play due to WNCL commitments.
The tournament will run from January 27 until February 3 in conjunction with Cricket Australia's reconciliation round.
