On a day when rain delays reduced the match to 49 overs and then 43, Tasmania posted a competitive 7-197 at Hobart's TCA Ground.
Rain ended Victoria's run chase at 2-65 off 17 overs - two runs above the par score - with opener Elyse Villani (30) and Ellyse Perry (3) still at the crease.

Earlier, the Tigers recovered from a disastrous start thanks to 23-year-old left-hander Maisy Gibson.
Perry's (3-17 off nine) opening spell accounted for the Tigers' top three inside 11 overs before Corinne Hall (42) and Courtney Webb (18), playing her first game of the campaign, steadied the ship.
Another flurry of wickets reduced the Tigers to 6-95 in the 28th over before Gibson put on successive 51-run stands with Brooke Hepburn (19) and Emma Manix-Geeves (12 not out).
The leg-spinner hit five fours and a six in her 40-ball innings to finish on a team-high 57 not out, while Molly Strano was Victoria's other multiple wicket-taker with 2-45.
The visitors then put on 51 for the first wicket before Samantha Bates (2-14 off five) removed Sophie Molineux (29) and Australian captain Meg Lanning (3) in quick succession.
The 2-4 Tigers will conclude their WNCL season with trips to New South Wales and ACT on February 4 and 6 respectively.
