The 23-year-old has taken seven wickets in three Big Bash matches at just nine per wicket and a run rate of 5.25.
Meredith has been relishing in a leadership role off the absence of English Test star Jofra Archer after back-to-back three wicket hauls.
"I think it's more so everyone doing their role, trying to take wickets and delivering dot balls the best that they can. I think we are all doing well as a group," he said.
Australian legspin great Shane Warne has been Meredith's biggest supporter for Australian selection, leading Hurricanes teammates to stir up the spearhead at every tweet.

But Meredith is keeping his mind focused at the game at hand this Monday night against Melbourne Stars.
"I think [my form] is more so with the clarity of what I have to do, the balls I can bowl and the different fields I can bowl with," he said.
The Canes will be looking at seeking revenge from its poor loss at Moe against the Stars just eight days earlier.
Meredith felt it was "really good to bounce back" with an easy win over Melbourne Renegades on Christmas Eve.
"Three games in five days is not easy, but I think 2-1, we'll take that," he said.
