Having led for most of the game, NTSA defeated USA in the first round despite a late scare.
A convincing win saw STSA knock USA out of the running to play in the grand final before recording another win against NTSA in the dead rubber.
The grand final game started out strong for NTSA but their 6-1 lead was soon depleted by infield errors and the controlled approach by the STSA coaching staff.
Once STSA (pictured) hit the lead there was no stopping the flurry of runs piled on over the next two innings and the game was ended by the run rule.
MVPs on the day were Hope Edwards (USA), Jocelyn McDougall (STSA) and Sophie Tatnell (NTSA) who was also awarded the prestigious Wayne Westlake Memorial Trophy for player of the grand final.
The men's championship will be held in Ulverstone in a fortnight and again will see the three associations trying to take the honours from the current state title holders NTSA.
