Maven Dental Day will be held on the final day of National Carers Week - October 19.
Unpaid carers will be given dental check-ups, x-rays, and cleans to free of charge.
Associate Dentist Katelyn McCracken said dental care was a basic health essential and the practice was pleased to be able to have a positive impact on the lives of unpaid carers who play an integral role in our local community but don't always take time out for themselves.
"This is a way we can give back to them and support them while also celebrating and recognising the contribution they make to our communities," Ms McCracken said.
Invermay man Ian Digney has cared for his wife Alison in an unpaid capacity since 2001.
"I am responsible for 80 per cent of the home duties in our family - including cooking, cleaning, doctors' appointments, and house and car maintenance - and the growing public waiting times for the dentist in Tasmania make dental care an expensive extra that is only viable under extreme worst-case scenarios," he said.
"I have participated in Maven Dental Day since it started in 2017, and it has certainly helped me take more care of myself and my teeth while also caring for my wife.
