BURNIE BAPTIST only tasted defeat once all year in men's competition - a round 11 loss to Devonport - but find themselves in the preliminary final against Queechy.
Falling to reigning premiers South Launceston 5-1, Baptist have had the upper hand over their opponents this season with two victories, including a 3-1 triumph a fortnight ago.
However, with their season on the line for the second consecutive week, Queechy thrived under pressure in a golden goal win against Launceston City seeing them through to this match-up.

With Tom Moir in prolific form down back for the Penguins, their spread of scorers in Evan Lawrence, Justin Ockerby, Jakeb Morris and Finn Bailey could extend their season.
In GNLW competition, CITY MARIANS host South Launceston on opposite ends of surprising results last week.
Marians tasted defeat to competition powerhouse West Devonport in their semi-final clash despite two wins this season against the reigning premiers.
South Launceston pushed further than their fourth-placed finish suggested with a 1-0 victory over close rivals Queechy.
The favourites have kept South Launceston at bay in their previous match-ups, coming away with 4-1 and 3-0 victories with Monique Moore and Jemma Kenworthy proving hard to stop with multiple goals throughout.
A head-to-head battle looks set to explode as Kira Johnston and South Launceston captain Nic Symonds have scored 11 times this season but respective goalkeepers Ash Murphy and Lynsey Shepherd-Blazley have been regular features in their side's best players for the year, with Murphy only conceding seven majors.
