Ricky and Sonia have won 31 races combined from 146 starts in Tasmania this season.
The Rosevale-based couple has five runners engaged across the 10-race Launceston card with Atley Quick to kick off proceedings in the second event.
Atley Quick has come up with the coveted red box for his second attempt over the 515-metre trip.
He is $1.85 in the Greyhound Recorder's predicted market.
Former test cricket great Ricky Ponting races the son of Barcia Bale who has won three of 13 career starts.
"Atley Quick isn't overly strong but from the inside draw should have the speed to lead," Sonia said.
"He has been racing well and last week he got galloped on which ruined his chances at his first try over the distance."
Witherspoon (box 6) will be looking to claim his first victory over 278m in Race 4 where the kennel also has Little Miss Ivy in box 1 and Leica Bomber in box 8.
"Witherspoon is going well although the five (Fairbanks) does like to shift right up the track," Sonia said.
"Leica Bomber gets a good chance from out wide with a vacant runner on the inside and Little Miss Ivy does possess good box speed from the inside."
