Set the task of kicking a football into a giant coffee cup during the three-quarter time interval, one 'Darcy from Zeehan' duly obliged.
The feat won him a cool $1000, and apparently, one free McDonalds coffee for every spectator who presents their match ticket at a store in the next 24 hours.
What appeared to be overlooked was that Saturday's match was Hawthorn's 'healthy eating' themed round, and that giving out free coffees in a country rightly addicted to warm caffeine-infused milk perhaps flew in the face of such a concept.
Oh, and Hawthorn won the game.
