With fellow front-runner Arrows hosting bottom-placed Devon on Sunday, any slip-up looks certain to be punished.
The ladder-leading Cavaliers (11-1) will take on third-bottom Cripps at the same time second-bottom Karana host reigning premiers Northern Hawks (9-3) on the neighbouring court at Hobart Netball Centre.
Both Launceston sides are coming off home wins against Devon with the Cavs set to lose Lucy Dennis but welcome Rachel Tempo back from injury for a match-up with Megan Harper.

Coach Dan Roden was wary of facing Alex Vinen who he described as "one of the best goal keepers in the competition".
"We will need to have precise ball placement and make good decisions when delivering the ball into the goal circle," he said.
"Our attackers will have their work cut out for them and will need to work hard to land on the circle edge. Cripps play a very similar style of play to us so we need to control the centre corridor across the court."
The Hawks will have to make do without sisters Lydia and Tessa Coote who are overseas on a family holiday.
