Division one still has two weeks to completion due to player representative duties.
Launceston is looking to stay unbeaten this weekend after winning division 2 comprehensively, but will need a home win to prevail in division 3 with Deloraine challenging.
Division 4 sees Launceston again lead with a home game advantage over Prospect Vale and Riverside.
In division 5, Tam O'Shanter needs an away win at Longford to prevail with Launceston and Prospect Vale both challenging strongly.
Division 6 is too close to call with Deloraine having a last round home game advantage over Launceston and Riverside still in the mix.
Scottsdale can wrap up a second successive pennant flag with a home win, however George Town are poised should they falter.
The highlight of round five saw father and son, Peter and Isaac Roberts, both play and win their games to seal a close victory for Riverside in division 4.
Isaac, a most promising junior, defeated Richard Lawson on the 19th hole whilst dad Peter overcame Prospect Vale captain Josh Lawrence in a close game.
Riverside won the match four games to three.
THYNE TROPHY
Golf North-West took out the Thyne Trophy played at Wynyard Golf Club last weekend.
The North-West recorded three contest wins and twelve and a half match points, finishing just ahead of the Southern Metropolitan Golf Association with two contests and fifteen match points.
Northern Golf and the Southern Country Golf Association placed third and fourth respectively.

- 2: Southern Metropolitan - 2 contest points,15 match points
- 3: Northern Golf - 1 contest point, 9 match points

NORTHERN LADIES TAKES THE PLATE
The Northern ladies dug deep to emerge victorious over their Southern counterparts in the North vs South Plate.
Leading four matches to one after the first day of foursomes at Thirlstane Golf Club, the Northern team hung on to win by a single point.
Northern wins went to Jackie Poke, Alexandria Hansen, Sharon Crowden and Lu Proud, while South's singles wins went to Lindy Goggin, Debbie Taylor and Anne Medlycott, Sue Frith and Sue Richardson.
Southern junior Mackenzie Wilson defeated Sarah Johnstone 3 and 1 in their number one match.

STATE PRIDE ON THE LINE
The Australian women's and men's interstate teams matches will be played on Tasmanian soil next week
The women's competition will be held at the Royal Hobart Golf Club from the 7th to 9th of May, with Northern Golf well represented by Prosepct's Lily Caelli and Riverside's Alex Hansen.
The men's equivalent will take place near Hobart at the Tasmania Golf Club from the 7th to the 10th of May.
Tasmania has a very strong team and will fancy their chances of competing well, with Greg Longmore, Mitch Van Noord and Ryan Thomas all representing the North of the state.
Both competitions will offer a treat of golf at the highest level and spectators are encouraged to attend.
