Northern representative Amelia Duffy started and kept a clean sheet in goals as Maddison Brooks and Emma Fenner scored goals in consecutive minutes during the third quarter to seal the deal for Tasmania.
ACT duo Meg Baxter and Alannah McCarthy received green cards in the encounter, with the Tasmanian girls keeping a clean reputation within the clash.
The same can't be said for the boys who defeated Northern Territory in a colourful, card-filled encounter to ensure third spot in their pool.
Smithton's Hugh Dwyer and Launceston City player Joe Short were presented with green cards within minutes of the opening quarter, as Jaxon Sproule received a yellow in the 17th minute prior to the side finding the back of the net.
Northern Territory's Noah Fahy was given a yellow card in the 43rd minute, giving Dwyer's Smithton team-mate Kiah House an opportunity at a penalty stroke, which he succeeded in converting to put Tasmania on the board.
Burnie Baptist's Matthew Murphy received a yellow shortly after but Hobart's Milo Gee put the nail in the coffin and made it near impossible for Northern Territory to come back after scoring off a penalty corner in the 53rd minute.
