He joins fellow Tasmanian Kieron Arthur having been elevated from the under-21 national junior squad along with Victoria's Nathan Ephraums, Queensland's Blake Wotherspoon, Hayden Dillon, of NSW, and West Australian Liam Flynn.
The men's national selection panel elevated the quintet following their performances at last year's Australian Hockey League and the national junior camp earlier this year.
The national junior squad will be re-selected following the under-21 Australian championships in July.
