Coming away victorious, the Riverside team of Belinda Young, Roxie Holden, Donna Williams, Alana Brewer and Mandy Gibson only lost one match in the best-of-five finals rubber.
In the rematch from last year's final, the participants were graced with the presence of Northern tennis legend Joan Carswell.
The Carswell tennis legacy continues to run through Tasmanian tennis with son David, grandchildren Hayley and Mat and great-grandchildren Alayna, Phoebe, Oliver and William all making the sport their priority.
Both David and Joan were made Tennis North life members last year, with Joan running the midweek ladies roster for decades.
Newstead emerged winners in A reserve and division two crown with Deloraine Gold and Legana Tennis Club taking home the division one and division three shields respectively.
