Australian Education Union Tasmania executive branch members will meet on Monday to discuss the state government's latest offer in relation to ongoing wages and conditions action.

High school teacher, parent and AEU executive member David Genford said part of the executive would meet to "formally discuss the offer and decide whether we accept that offer or not".
If a deal is not struck, about 36 schools in Northern Tasmania will open later than usual on Wednesday morning.
