The Western Tiers Cycle Challenge took place on Sunday, March 24, with hundreds of cyclists of all abilities participating in the day's five different events.
The event was in its 13th year, with all funds raised going toward New Horizons Tasmania.
When the NDIS rollout is complete in the state in June, New Horizons will be solely reliant on donations and will need to compete for funding.
Chief executive Belinda Kitto said that meant fundraising was needed now more than ever.
"It's really important for us at the moment. With funding gone, this fundraising is very important," she said.
"At the stage we're at we need to raise funds to keep the doors open. But, in the past it's been to increase programs for people with a disability within our community.
"Every cent from every rider's entry will go to our cause."

The riders left from then returned to the Prospect Vale Park. Distances included a 140-kilometre ride to Deloraine and Dairy Plains, a 100-kilometre ride to Deloraine, a 76-kilometre ride to Westbury, a 52-kilometre ride toward Hagley, and a 24-kilometre ride to Carrick.
"We've had about 250 people ride today," Ms Kitto said.
"Our 100-kilometre ride was the most popular, with 120 in that one ride.
"It was really great seeing that big bunch go off together."
Ms Kitto said there was also a little competition in the 100-kilometre ride, with a prize for best dressed.
"It was for the best dressed retro rider, so we've had people turn up and see them ride back in retro gear and even on a retro bike, so that's been really fun."
She said the event's 140-kilometre ride was in memory of John O'May, who had initially started the ride for New Horizons.
New Horizons Tasmania has provided people with a disability the opportunity to participate in many sport and recreational activities since 1986.
