The final event in the Tasmanian wakeboarding season will be the state titles on Lake Trevallyn on Saturday.
The day will see the best wakeboarders in Tasmania hit the water hoping to qualify for nationals being held in a couple of months’ time.
Tasmanian Wakeboarding Club provides professional development and competition for wakeboarders of any age, with categories including groms, women’s, advanced, straight air and pro.
Organisers said there is a riding level for everyone, and it is strongly encouraged for all riders to take the water, including beginners.
Tasmanian Wakeboarding Club president Nigel Curren said: “We are really supportive of people who are new to the sport, we have an amazing wakeboarding community in Tasmania which we are proud of.
“If you are thinking of getting into the sport, or are just interested, come and have a look at the state titles event.”
