Salliann Briggs’ women made it to 3-1 and top spot on the ladder before a 12-week break for the WBBL, and can secure a final berth with positive results against fifth-placed Western Australia and sixth-placed Victoria on Friday and Sunday respectively.
Emma Thompson, who scored 60 in Tigers’ opening round win against ACT, returns to the 14-strong squad after missing the entire WBBL with injury with quick Katelyn Fryett (injured) dropping out.
Former Riverside wicket-keeper Emma Manix-Geeves and New South Wales talent Ashley Day will make their Tigers debuts if selected.
Both matches will be played in Victoria and begin at 10am.
