The Hurricanes look strong at the top of the ladder after dispatching the Brisbane Heat in Hobart Tuesday night.
It’s amazing isn’t it? To get genuine representation from the North and Northwest in the Hurricanes at the moment. All the fans and supporters up here get behind all of the players, D’arcy Short is a local now and everyone supports the team so that will be fantastic.
- Phil Rigby
With a bit of history between the Hurricances and the Strikers, Mr Rigby said the game will be an interesting watch.
“We played them in the Big Bash final last year and we were very happy to beat them to get revenge in Adelaide earlier this season,” he said.
“They’re a dangerous side so it will be a high quality match, one that the fans will enjoy.”
Mr Rigby said it will be great for locals to show support for their resident players as they make their finals push.
