North-West Bay’s Oscar Burrell is also returning while new members are Tasmania Golf Club’s Dylan Backhouse and Lachlan White, and Stanley’s Jack Lakin.
Golf Tasmania operations manager Stuart Eaton said County Club Tasmania professional Bryce Gorham has been named as coach and Tasmania Golf Club’s Mark Schulze will manage the team.
Eaton said Isaac Roberts (Riverside) and Royal Hobart’s Hunter Gillard (Royal Hobart) will take part in the Australian Boys’ Amateur at Southport Golf Club from April 10-12 as part of the development squad program.
The championship is contested over 72 holes of stroke play (cut after 36 holes), with a handicap limit of approximately 4.4.
The boys’ interstate team matches will be at the Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club from April 15-18.
Each state and territory is represented by six players with five contesting singles match play each round in a round robin format.
