Cricket North-West front-runner Ulverstone is all that stands between the Shamrocks and the Greater Northern Cup title, which has been won by North-West sides for the past two seasons.
Boosting the Shamrocks’ title tilt is the availability of six front-line players who have represented the Greater Northern Raiders this season – Jake Williams, Oliver Wood, Jonathan Chapman, Alex Kerrison, Corey Briggs and Liam Ryan.
“It’s a massive, massive day for the club,” Howe said.
“It’s one thing making a final and another thing to win it, so with a bit of luck for all the guys that have stuck by the club - the Michael Claxtons and the likes that have been around the club for a lot of years - hopefully we can win this and tick it off the board.

“A lot of work goes into running a club like Westbury and it’s the guys that have been around for a lot of years that seem to keep doing the work year in year out.
“For us to be able to bring the cup back to them, it’s reward for effort for them and shows that yes the club is going somewhere.
“It’d be nice to break the drought so we’ll see how we go.”
Black Caps coach Jacob Snare said his experienced heads would need to fire to outplay the home side.
“We will be looking to have big games from our senior guys,” Snare said.
“If you look across the board, [Westbury] don’t have too many weaknesses with a great batting line-up and a just as impressive bowling line-up.”
