Organised by the Rotary Club of Tamar Sunrise, the Launceston Carols by Candlelight will celebrate the season of giving while raising funds for those in need.
Here’s everything you need to know before heading out to Launceston’s City Park on Sunday night.
Times
City Park will close at 3pm for set-up.
Gates will re-open for the event at 5pm, with the event to begin at 7pm.
No entry or pass-outs will be permitted after 9.15pm
Food and drink
Picnic food, hampers, and small eskies are permitted inside the event.
Food vans will also be serving from 5pm.
Coffee Buzz, a Rotary Club of Launceston barbecue, Tassie Sweet and Savory Stix, Roasted Coffee House, Della Valle Gelato, Moss-Side Berry Pancakes, and Chili Con Carne Nachos will be serving food and drink at the event.
Cost
Entry is $5 for adults and $3 for children, including a safe flame candle.
Be sure to bring cash as no EFTPOS will be available.
Empty Stocking
All funds raised from the Launceston Carols by Candlelight will go toward The Examiner’s Empty Stocking Appeal.
The appeal supports the Launceston City Mission, Benevolent Society, St Vincent de Paul, and the Salvation Army.
