A $300,000 volunteer fire station has been reopened after it burned down from an alleged deliberately lit fire in 2017.

Premier Will Hodgman officially opened the site on Saturday.
“This is a really important moment for a community that knows the risk and threat of bushfires way too well,” he said.
“Tasmania relies on the strength of our volunteers in so many ways. They need somewhere that’s fit for purpose ... and allows them to do their job and keep us safe.”
The day after the station was burned, the government committed to rebuilding the station.
