Wilkinson, of Hobart, won the heavyweight Muay Thai title in front of 450 spectators at Launceston’s St Ailbes Hall via a first-round knockout.
Legion MMA welterweight champion Damon Upton-Greer will challenge Chris Drummond for the super middleweight Legion Muay Thai title at Elphin Sports Centre on February 16 after overcoming Ant Poke in the second round during their 76kg A class bout.
Launceston’s Darcy Lake took down Ethan Godden in the 80kg B class, Brett Boatwright secured his maiden victory by defeating Nathan Balym in 90-odd seconds, Mat Bransden won by decision, Franki Long claimed a 76kg C Class split decision victory over Charles Plunkett and James Woolley accounted for Colin Finger by TKO.
Promotor Jacob Gelston said the lastest installment of the Mixed Martial Arts and Muay Thai event was a success.
