Chasing the home side’s total of 7-131, Rumbel hit seven sixes and two fours in a quickfire 55 before being bowled by John McCoy, leaving Jackson Blair (57 not out) to steer the Tigers to a six-wicket win inside 16 overs.
Hat-trick specialist Jay Willis was the pick of Trevallyn’s bowlers with two wickets, while Longford’s Kieran Davey took 3-17.
ACL made light work of Legana at Durham Park, chasing down 8-93 inside seven overs as Jesse Digney hit five sixes and three fours in 53 not out.
Donald Howarth was the only Durham to take a scalp in the nine-wicket loss, while Simon Chappell, Cameron Martin and Anuradha Dissanyaka eached picked up two for the Bluebacks.
In the other two games of the round Matthew Williams (37 off 47) and Matthew Lawrence (4-13 off four) led Perth to a win over Hadspen, while Beauty Point forfeited its trip to Cressy after being dismissed for 36 last week.
