Preston will be the special guest and present the annual Festivale lunch, hosted at Stillwater on Februray 1.
The chef will work in conjunction with Stillwater executive chef Craig Will, to develop the menu for the lunch and will showcase his love for fresh, local produce as well as giving guest the opportunity to hear about his innovative approach to menu design and cooking.
Festivale chairman David Dunn said the event was promising to be better than ever.
“As well as 80 of the best food, wine, beer, spirits and cider producers showcasing their products, we welcome the iconic Matt Preston to Festivale. In addition to the lunch Matt, along with chefs from local restaurants, will also be taking part in the Tasmanian Food Co’s Cooking in the Park demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday,” Mr Dunn said.
A full entertainment program, including Fresh Comedy, will round out the Festivale experience and the new look Kids Park is guaranteed to keep the children entertained for hours.
