A clash betwen the Collingwood Magpies and West Coast Eagles, the AFL grand final will be beamed into televisions.
Not all of us can make it to the MCG this weekend so here are some of the areas you can watch the game in Launceston.
Rockin Hot Pizza
On grand final day, don't you just love to watch the game and eat pizza? Well why not do both. Rockin Hot Pizza will be opening from 11.30am and cooking till late. They will be showing the grand final on the TV and patrons will be able to purchase pizza while watching the game. It is also going to have rock band Rude Lixx performing. Family friendly until 9pm.
Sporties
If you don’t feel like pizza you could always poke your head into Sporties where you can go and watch the footy on the TV and get some food and drinks. They are also having a promotion if you buy a Boags draft, you get the chance to win a retro t-shirt. Sporties opens at 11am and is child-friendly until 9pm.
Country Club Launceston
If you wanted to you could go to the Country Club Launceston where you can go and watch the game in the showroom from 1pm. It’s free entry offers complimentary snacks, drink specials, footy food for sale and the showroom will be themed but is 18+ only.
The Commercial Hotel
The big match will be beamed onto the TV at the Commercial Hotel, if you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere. Child-friendly and food and drinks available.
Gunners Arms Hotel
If you didn't feel like going to one of these places then another area you could go if you wanted to is the Gunners Arms Hotel, which will be open at 12pm and will be offering bar snacks, have two big TVs showing the grand final, point margin tickets, draws for first goal-kicker in every quarter and drink specials.
