After a successful inaugural year, the Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival is back and bigger than ever.
Festival director Allanah Dopson said the festival was based around the beautiful heritage buildings of Evandale, but this year would expand.
“We’re still keeping that Evandale flavour, but then moving through those wonderful hawthorn hedges to Longford,” she said.
The program includes the Tinalley String Quartet, Slava and Leonard Grigoryan, Erin Helyard, Jacqueline Porter, and Emma McGrath, and Bach in the Barns.
Ms Dopson said the festival would be attended by people from all over Australia, including tour groups from the mainland.
She said tickets to the festival events “sold out in a heartbeat” with only a few still remaining.
The Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival is on October 26 to 28 in the Northern Midlands.
