On Sunday GKR Region 18 held a grading day at Brooks High School with karate enthusiasts of all ages pulling together up to a year's worth of training for testing to obtain their next grade and associated belt colour.

Regional manager Sensai Jacob Horne led the grading and also held a karate clinic afterwards. Also assisting to grade students was Sensais Ryan Parkinson, Eddie Perinski, Su-Lei-Franklin and Andrew Thompson.
