Tamar NRM and Tasmanian Fire Service has again teamed up to run the Burning to Plan workshop to help landholders produce bushfire management plans for their properties, fire ecologist Gill Basnett said.
“How we manage fire successfully and safely to protect life and property, as well as benefit the environment, is an important question for many land managers/owners,” Ms Basnett said.
The workshop will be held at Tasmanian Fire Service’s Northern Region headquarters at Youngtown on July 20 and 21, but registrations close on June 30.
