The Shamrocks won the toss and decided to bat, finishing 6-152 from their 20 overs at Westbury Oval.
The hosts were 1-1 when Jesse Digney (0) fell but they managed to build handy partnerships from there on in with Dane Anderson (36), Nathan Parkin (28 not out) and Jonty Manktelow ( 30 not out) the chief destroyers.
Sagar Chhetri was the Eagles only multiple wicket taker with 2-28. In reply, Mowbray started strongly with Rohan Pooley (13) and Rhys Watson (25) compiling a 37-run opening stand.
However, the regular loss of wickets took its toll with Jarrod Freeman (14), Chhetri (17) and Lochie Geard (12) the only middle-to-lower order batsmen to pass double figures throughout the chase.
Westbury were brilliant in the field with four Mowbray batsmen dismissed via run-outs. Manktelow was the Shamrocks’ most successful with the ball, claiming 2-11 off three overs. Jono Chapman was extremely economical, only going for six runs off his three. Riverside also defeated Launceston – details were available.
