The full course is expected to be unveiled on Monday but The Examiner understands it will again remain entirely within Northern Tasmania.
The last of seven events in the 2017 National Road Series, the tour will consist of five stages and has been brought forward from its provisional date to accommodate the Stan Siejka Classic on Sunday, November 12.
The tour will start with a prologue in Launceston on Monday, November 6, followed by stages from George Town to Grindelwald (November 7), Launceston to Poatina (November 8), Ulverstone to Penguin (November 9) and end with a criterium in Devonport (November 10).
Experienced administrator John Trevorrow will again act as race director as around 100 of Australia’s best male cyclists compete and take part in community activities including school visits, participation rides and safety awareness talks.
