Both girls dominated at the under-18 championships and were selected in the all-Australian team.
"The All Stars game is a great opportunity for our players to show their abilities at the highest level possible for under-18 players and catch the eye of AFLW recruiters," AFL Tasmania's Leigh Elder said.
Bannister is a member of the AFLW academy and was selected for the Allies squad at the under-18 national championship after strong performances in Tasmania against South Australia and Northern Territory.
Elder said the AFLW draft prospect's class stood out.
"She is strong, quick and very skillful and has the ability to play in any area of the ground."
King was a late call-up to the Allies squad at nationals but the youngster, who is not draft eligible until 2019, was in superb form, leading to an all-star nod.
"Her attack on the ball is second to none and she impressed as an inside midfielder," Elder said.
"Mia is a bottom-age player so she has another two seasons of development before being draftable, so her opportunity at this level will accelerate her knowledge and experience.”
Both will line up in the big V to take on the Allies on September 2 with Tasmanian and Brisbane Lions player Jessica Wuetschner also picked in the AFLW Allies team that will take on Victoria and goal umpire Bryce Guy selected after an outstanding AFLW season.
