Gary Shipton will lead the ladder-leading Redlegs for a fourth consecutive season as a playing coach, while Geoff Mohr has received a two-year contract extension – tying him to the Magpies until the end of 2019.
Scottsdale president Cameron Moore said Mohr has impressed in the job.
"We felt it was very important to have some continuity in the role," Moore said.

"Geoff has led the club into finals in 2016-17... and understands the special place the footy club has in our community.”
Mohr said the club was heading in the right direction.
"We're starting to build something special and I want to be at the club to see it become a power house of the NTFA again," Mohr said.
"Our aim on the field this season and for the next two years is not only to win premierships but create a club culture that is sustainable.”
